National Breast Cancer Foundation and Snowy Mountain Spring Water Strike Partnership to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Research
Snowy Mountain Spring Water has been designated as a National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) Platinum Partner.

Preston Vic, AUSTRALIA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Milionis, Managing Director of Snowy Mountain Bottlers Pty Ltd, manufacturers of Snowy Mountain bottled water, was proud to announce that Snowy Mountain Spring Water has been designated as a National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) Platinum Partner.

According to Milionis, the company is delighted to provide their support to the NBCF's mission and vision. He commented that with breast cancer rates in Australia seeing a significant increase, the need for more research into the fatal disease is now direr than ever. He also drew attention to statistics which show that breast cancer is now the 3rd most prevalent cancer in the country, with close to 40 people dying from it every day.

In an effort to make the company's partnership with the NBCF official, Snowy Mountain Spring Water bottles will now feature special pink packaging, including the well-known Pink Ribbon breast cancer symbol, for a limited period of time. The new packaging will also feature pink caps and a tinge of pink on the Snow Mountain label, while bottled water packs will feature pink information about Snowy Moutain's initiative to raise funds for breast cancer research and its support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

And as an added treat, Milionis said that for every multi-pack of Snow Mountain Spring Water sold in local supermarkets, 10 cents will be donated to the NBCF, bolstering efforts to find a much-needed cure for breast cancer.

Snowy Mountain also unveiled their social media campaign on Facebook, with the goal of raising an additional $10,000 dollars for breast cancer research before December 12, 2010. Milionis is hopeful that their support to the cause will be taken seriously and that more people will help out in this crucial endeavor.
