Eugene W. Loudon Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Business Development
Eugene W. Loudon developed Dovex Organics into the country's largest grower, packer and shipper of organic apples and pears

CASHMERE, WA, June 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Eugene W. Loudon, Director of New Business Development for Crunch Pak, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business development.

Descended from a long line of fruit growers, Eugene W. Loudon could not have been better suited to the produce industry. A 26-year veteran of the field, he is widely respected for his knowledge of fresh produce sales, market development, and market shares. He considers himself fortunate to have honed his skills at such top-notch fruit production and exporting companies as Dovex Organics and, now, Crunch Pak. In charge of new business development for the latter, Mr. Loudon is responsible primarily for acquiring new clients and conducting programs with retailers.

In a stellar 12-year career at Dovex, Mr. Loudon was credited for turning around the company's organic program. He took over an operation that produced a mere 200,000 boxes, developing it over a nine-year span into the country's largest organic apple and pear grower, packer and shipper, with over 2.5 million boxes. Mr. Loudon considers this the proudest achievement of his career to date.

A member of the Organic Trade Association, Mr. Loudon has taken part in numerous panels, as well as held court at the Washington Horticultural Convention. His business development skills tried and tested, he has often been sought by industry practitioners, including both major and minor retail category buyers and merchandisers, to help transition conventional retailers into organic apple and pear producers. He is thrilled to be in an up-and-coming industry with a strong growth curve, and looks forward to advancing his career further at Crunch Pak.

In addition to industry-related training, Mr. Loudon earned a bachelor of science in Biblical theology in 1980 from Lutheran Bible Institute of Washington. He continues his involvement in church activities as an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Wenatchee.

Crunch Pak is a fruit production and exporting firm that specializes in packaged precut/sliced apples. For more information, visit http://www.crunchpak.com.
